With profound sadness, we share the passing of our beloved Dugald, age 31, on 8 November 2024. He left, as he lived life, on his own terms and surrounded by love.
Dugald loved life and guided us on his last journey. He will be deeply missed by his family, friends and all who knew him. His courage, kindness, and spirit touched many.
We thank the Peter MacCallum and Royal Melbourne staff for their extraordinary care and support.
Dugald wanted to make a difference and help prevent future generations from developing neurofibromatosis (NF) and malignant peripheral nerve sheath tumours (MPNSTs). The Flicker of Hope Foundation funnels 100 per cent of donations to medical research for NF. They are supporting research into MPNSTs under the banner of Dugald’s Journey. To add your support, go to flicker of hope and add Dugald’s Journey in “Message for Fundraising”. A huge shout out and thanks to all who have so generously donated.
Thank you for sharing, Liz 🩵
